Returns and Refund Policy

As a voluntary offer, you may return an item within 30 days of receiving it if you change your mind. To qualify, the item must be:

• unused and unworn, in its original condition
• in its original packaging, with tags and labels attached
• accompanied by proof of purchase

Items that have been used, damaged by the customer or returned without their original packaging do not qualify for this voluntary change-of-mind offer. This does not affect your statutory rights for faulty goods or your online cooling-off rights described below.

Email hello@courtside.co.za with your order number, proof of purchase and the reason for the return. We will reply with return instructions. Please wait for our instructions before sending anything back.

If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery, with photos where possible. This helps us resolve the issue quickly. It is a request for prompt reporting, not a cut-off for your statutory rights.

Under section 56 of the CPA, if goods have a qualifying defect within six months of delivery, you may choose a repair, replacement or refund, as provided by law, at the supplier's expense.

Exchanges are standard for defective items and items damaged on arrival. This does not replace any other remedy available to you by law.

Under section 44 of ECTA, for eligible online purchases you may cancel within 7 days of receiving the goods, without giving a reason and without penalty. The only charge you may bear is the direct cost of returning the goods. Where this applies, we will refund payments within 30 days of cancellation. Statutory exclusions apply.

We will tell you whether your return is approved or rejected, with reasons, within 7 business days of receiving it.

Approved refunds are made to your original payment method within 7 to 14 business days of approval, subject to any shorter deadline required by law.

• For voluntary change-of-mind returns, you pay the cost of return shipping.
• Courtside covers return shipping for defective or incorrect items, and wherever the law requires it.
• Original delivery charges are not refunded for voluntary change-of-mind returns outside the statutory cooling-off period. Where the law requires delivery charges to be refunded, we will refund them.
